At Totum Talent, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the food industry
OBJECTIVE:
Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, and procedures. Responsible for diagnosing, designing, and executing maintenance and improvement plans to accomplish company objectives.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Ensures all health, safety, and regulations are followed.
- Identifies current and future maintenance needs; resource planning and implementation
- Creates a preventive maintenance system and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
- Approves and oversees capital projects (software/machine purchases, installations, facility renovations).
- Designs and implements personnel training programs for equipment and machinery.
- Monitors and controls equipment/parts inventory and places orders when necessary.
- Controls budget for maintenance and repairs.
- Manages relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keeps maintenance/repair logs and reports daily activities.
- Proposes plant improvements in security, automation, productivity, and efficiency.
- Generates implementation plans for security and automation.
- Researches new technology and equipment for meat production and facilities improvement.
- Performs recurrent inspections to meet quality standards and proper machinery functionality
